Recorded music begins in Rotary Memorial Park at 10:30 am.
Children’s Parade escorted with an RCMP cruiser followed by Piper Craig Caldwell. Then the Mayor carrying the Canadian flag and the children with some parents and they’ll be followed by two fire trucks, the old Seagrave and another. They’ll be walking on public streets.
Flag raising at noon. Diane Hachey will sing the bilingual version of O Canada. Speeches will follow and the Legion will lay three wreaths at the Cenotaph. Legionnaires will provide a guard of honor as well as reps from our 866 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron.
Followed by official opening of Rotary Fountain.
Piper Caldwell will then provide piping as he moves around park.
Free hotdogs and Canada Day cake available to everyone. Beverages at a cost of $1.00 each with proceeds turned over to fight polio.
Daniel Poirier will be providing a half hour of live entertainment from Rotary ship.
The public is asked to bring chairs and wear red and white.
