AN AMENDMENT TO BY-LAW NO. 303-05

TOWN OF DALHOUSIE

A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF DALHOUSIE TO REGULATE TRAFFIC

Amendments :

Section 12. (2.5)
Remove

Replace:
b) On the north side of Victoria Street between Renfrew Street and Eddy Street

With:
b) On the north side of Victoria Street from Eddy Street to the Inch Arran lighthouse

Add:
(l) on south side of Victoria Street between Bujold Street and Renfrew Street

Section 14.

Replace:
Notwithstanding anything in this by-law, a Peace Officer may direct traffic on any highway within the municipality.

There shall be no liability attached to any Peace Officer for any damages to a vehicle taken into his custody under subsection (1.1) of this section, unless such officer is guilty of gross negligence or wanton mis-conduct.

There shall be no liability attached to any police officer or employee of the Town of Dalhousie for any damages to a motor vehicle removed from such street, as a result of the owner or operator having left same so parked or left so standing on any street.
