The boil order advisory that was issued by the municipality for the Darlington ward is now lifted. It’s no longer necessary to boil the water. The municipality would like to apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.  

Personnel restucturing

Mayor and Council carried motions on Tuesday July 5, 2016 to restructure personnel at the Town of Dalhousie. Therefore the CAO, Director of Finance and Community Development Officer positions were eliminated effective immediately. On July 7, 2016 May Palmater was appointed as acting Clerk/Treasurer.  506-684-7600  

Precautionary boil water advisory

IMPORTANT MESSAGE The Town of Dalhousie would like to advise the residents of Darlington Ward that a precautionary boil water advisory has been ordered by the Department of Health. The advisory will be in effect starting July 8th at 8:00am. A Special Public meeting will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Dalhousie Town Hall to address the following items: - To give signing authority to Deputy Mayor Fearon under section 78(1) of the Municipalities Act. - To appoint Serge Landry as Town representative on the Charlo Airport Board. - To appoint a firm for human resources consulting needs.
